DeKalb County Continuum of Care - Ending Homelessness is DeKalb County by 2020

According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the purpose of the Continuum of Care program is to: Promote community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers and state and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families, and affected communities; promote access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

The DeKalb County Continuum of Care invites everyone who is interested in eliminating homelessness to attend meetings and volunteer to participate on committees. For additional information, contact adpope@dekalbcountyga.gov
