Marian Adeimy represents the County in a variety of contract, procurement, intergovernmental, and litigation matters. Prior to joining DeKalb County, Marian served as counsel for a top Atlanta firm, representing private property owners and developers in a variety of practice areas, including zoning and land use, condemnation, water runoff, easements, foreclosures, landlord/tenant, collections, and covenant enforcement.
Marian earned her J.D. from Georgia State University and her B.S. from the University of Georgia where she graduate cum laude. While in law school, Marian worked with the Georgia State Senate, the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG), and GeorgiaLink, a top lobbying firm. She obtained a Certificate in International Arbitration from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria.
Marian served as a Board Member for the Council for Quality Growth and on the Georgia Metropolitan Water Basin Advisory Council. She is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett (2016) and an active Rotarian. Marian was named a "Super Lawyer - Rising Star" in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
