The Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) includes a team of 110 skilled professionals who support the County’s digital infrastructure, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity needs. The department is committed to delivering secure, innovative, and efficient technology services that enhance government operations and improve service delivery to residents and departments alike. DoIT is organized into four primary functional areas:
Applications
Supports and maintains enterprise systems.
Manages custom applications, databases, and integration services.
Works with departments to streamline workflows and improve service delivery through automation.
Infrastructure
Oversees the County’s data centers, network, and server infrastructure.
Manages cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, and virtual environments.
Provides technical support, hardware lifecycle management, and IT service desk operations.
Strategic Support
Manages technology procurement, contracts, and vendor relations.
Oversees the Project Management Office (PMO) to align IT initiatives with County priorities.
Drives performance monitoring, governance, and budget planning efforts.
Chief Information Security Office (CISO)
Leads the County’s cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance efforts.
Monitors threats and vulnerabilities to protect systems and data.
Implements security policies, awareness training, and incident response plans.
