
Construction to install new water main pipes
Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continue Monday,Oct. 13, with the launch of the Clifton Church Water Main Replacement Project. Crews will replace approximately 10,900 linear feet of ductile iron water pipe on Clifton Church Road, Gresham Road and Richard Allen Lane.
This project is part of DeKalb County’s $4.27 billion capital improvement program to improve capacity and service of the watershed systems serving the community.
Normal construction hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
