A suspect has been identified in the shooting of an 11-year-old male at Golden Glide Skating Rink on April 9.
The suspect is not yet in custody.
On April 9, 2022, at approximately 11 p.m., DeKalb County Police Department responded to a report of a person shot at the Golden Glide Skating Rink, located at 2750 Wesley Chapel Rd., Decatur.
An 11-year-old male suffered from a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital.
The case is being investigated by the police department’s Homicide Assault Unit, which has received numerous tips from the public.
