DeKalb Firefighters Kick Off 37th Annual “Give Burns the Boot” Campaign

DeKalb County Fire Rescue (DCFR) firefighters will take to the community Sept. 13–27 for the 37th annual “Give Burns the Boot” campaign, raising funds to support the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation (GFBF) and its mission to assist burn survivors and promote burn prevention and education throughout Georgia.

DeKalb County Breaks Ground on New $10.5 Million Fire Station No. 5

DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson joined members of the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners, public safety officials and community leaders Thursday to break ground on a new $10.5 million Fire Station No. 5, marking another major investment in the County’s public safety infrastructure.

Peachtree Boulevard Lane Closure Sept. 8
