Central DeKalb Senior Center is located in the beautiful Mason Mill Park. We serve residents of DeKalb County, 62 years of age and older, active, engaged, and independent.

We provide programs and activities to promote cultural arts, academic instruction, games for mental strategy, health and wellness, social interaction, community building and more!

OUR MISSION
The mission of DeKalb County’s Human Services Department, to include CDSC, is to enhance the well-being of the senior population by optimizing services on behalf of mature adults and their families.

OUR VISION
The vision of CDSC is to offer programming to meet the evolving needs of the senior population, to treat all members and citizens of DeKalb County with dignity and respect, and to provide excellent customer service in a safe and welcoming environment.

1. What are Membership Requirements?

• 62 years of age or older
• DeKalb County Resident
• Exhibit independence and the ability to take care of one’s own personal care. Participants must be able to communicate their needs, feed, toilet, medicate, ambulate, and engage independently. 

2. What does it cost? 

The annual membership fee is $60. Some programs may require an additional fee for supplies or instruction costs. 

3.How do become a CDSC member?

• Stop by, take a tour of CDSC, and pick up the CDSC Welcome and Membership Packet. 
• Complete, sign and submit the completed Membership Packet to CDSC staff.
• Please bring identification to verify residency.
• Pay the $60.00 annual membership fee via check or card.
• Welcome to CDSC!

4. Does your center provide transportation?

No.

5.Do you go on trips and outings? 

Yes, the CDSC Shuttle takes members to local events. We work with a senior travel service for trips outside Atlanta.
