You can vote in person on Election Day from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at your assigned polling place. If you are in line by 7 p.m., you will still be allowed to vote. Find your assigned polling place on My Voter Page. |
Voting in Public Service Commissioner Special Primary |
During the June 17, Special Primary Election, all voters will see District 2 and District 3 contests for the PSC on their ballots, regardless of where they live in DeKalb County. Although candidates qualify by district, the PSC is a statewide office. Voters do not vote by district, but by selecting their party preference, as this is a partisan primary election. All eligible voters must choose a Democratic or Republican ballot to participate in the election. |
ID Requirements |
Each elector shall present proper identification to a poll official. Proper identification shall consist of any one of the following: • A Georgia driver's license which was properly issued by the appropriate state agency • A valid Georgia voter identification card issued under Code Section 21-2-417.1 or other valid identification • A valid United States passport • A valid employee identification card containing a photograph of the elector and issued by any branch, • A valid United States military identification card, provided that such identification card contains a photograph • A valid tribal identification card containing a photograph of the elector Those who are entitled to vote by absentee ballot under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act are exempt from this requirement. |
