DeKalb Recreational Parks and Cultural Affairs will host a Breast Cancer Brunch Awareness Month Celebration on Saturday, October 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Exchange Intergenerational Recreation Center, 2771 Columbia Drive, Decatur, Ga.

The event’s registration is $25 per guest and will include food and a t-shirt. Patrons will enjoy a morning filled with education, empowerment, community engagement and a Zumba class.

“This special event is dedicated to raising awareness about breast health and promoting early detection of breast cancer. Our aim is to encourage individuals to take charge of their health while enjoying a delicious breakfast and gaining access to valuable educational resources,” said Chuck Ellis, Parks Director.

A portion of the proceeds from the Breast Cancer Brunch Awareness Month Celebration will be used to support the American Cancer Society, Inc.
