Laura K. Johnson

Laura K. Johnson (she/her) is a Deputy County Attorney for the DeKalb County Law Department. She supervises all civil litigation and all employment law matters for DeKalb County Government and various County officials.

Ms. Johnson earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, magna cum laude, where she served as Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law.  Prior to law school, she earned a B.A. in psychology from Emory University.  She served as a law clerk to the Hon. Anthony A. Alaimo, Senior Judge in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Georgia, and practiced in the areas of employment law and litigation at Elarbee, Thompson, Sapp & Wilson LLP and King & Spalding LLP before coming to work for the DeKalb County Law Department.
