Nikisha "Niki" McDonald is a Senior Assistant County Attorney in the Law Department’s Public Safety Group, where she works closely with the DeKalb County Sheriff and other public safety departments. Her practice includes contract review, providing legal opinions, and defending lawsuits involving allegations of excessive force and other violations of constitutional rights.
Ms. McDonald is a native of DeKalb County and earned her J.D. from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2003. Prior to law school, she earned her B.A. in Political Science from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. Ms. McDonald is very active in her church and the community, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Judge Penny Brown Reynolds Foundation, Inc.
