Staff Attorneys (Terri Gordon)

Terri GordonTerri N. Gordon is the Supervising Attorney of the DeKalb County Law Department's Administrative Group. She provides day-to-day legal advice and assistance, including contract review and ordinance and policy drafting to Recreation, Parks & Cultural Affairs, Library, Human & Community Development and Economic Development.  In addition, she represents the County in a number of litigation matters in federal and state courts.  She also provides regular legal advice and training to all County departments regarding the Open Records Act.

Ms. Gordon earned her Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2000.  While at Howard University, she was an Articles Editor of the Howard Law Journal.  Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Davidson College.  She enjoys traveling and has visited many countries across the world.
