DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management crews are working to repair a water main along Chamblee-Dunwoody Road.

A 70-foot section of eight-inch diameter water pipe at a private construction site was undermined when heavy rains washed away dirt, suspending the pipe in the air.

Customers in the area may experience some service interruptions, including low water pressure and temporary water outages, while repairs are being made.

If customers experience brown water, they should run their faucets until the water is clear.

Updates will be communicated as available.
