Due to continued inclement winter weather conditions, all DeKalb County government offices, buildings, and in-person County-sponsored programming will remain closed and canceled through Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
County employees should not report to County facilities during this period. Employees who are able to work remotely are expected to do so, unless otherwise directed by their department leadership. Employees whose duties cannot be performed virtually will receive specific instructions from their respective departments.
Regularly scheduled meetings of the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners will continue as planned and will be conducted virtually to ensure continuity of government operations and public access. Essential personnel will continue to report to work or remain on duty as required to support public safety, emergency response, infrastructure, and other critical County services.
County leadership and emergency management officials will continue to monitor weather conditions and assess operational impacts. An additional update regarding County operations for Wednesday will be issued on Tuesday.
