The DeKalb County Human Services Department’s Office of Youth Services, in partnership with College AIM, will cohost the Metro-Atlanta College Access Conference on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, at 6 p.m. The conference will be hosted virtually.

This event is designed to connect high school students and their families with resources to aid in their college research process. Participants will gain information on factors to consider when selecting a college or university, college application requirements, and the financial aid process. The conference will also include mini workshops led by college representatives from across the city, state and country.

Founded in 2015, the Metro-Atlanta College Access Conference is designed to connect first-generation and underrepresented minority high school juniors and seniors from metro Atlanta with supportive college options. This is the first year that the DeKalb Office of Youth Services will serve as a cohost for the conference.

The event is open to the public and there is no cost to participate, however registration is required.
