DeKalb Juvenile Court to Announce $1.1 Million YouthBuild Grant

DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Juvenile Court Chief Judge Vincent Crawford will announce the receipt of a $1.1 million grant for paid internships and training for DeKalb youth, ages 16-24.

DeKalb Juvenile Court is among the recipients of a three-year YouthBuild grant for 2019 awarded by the U.S. Department of Labor. This grant will allow the Juvenile Court to partner with the Solicitor-General’s office, WorkSource DeKalb and other community organizations to provide paid occupational skills training, paid work experience/internships, high school and GED completion and other youth incentives.
