DeKalb Police K-9 Officer Indi and his Handler to be Recognized for Valor

  • DeKalb K-9 Officer Indi
  • Master Police Officer Norman Larsen (Indi’s handler)

What:

  • DeKalb K-9 Officer Indi will be returning to work after being shot and losing an eye while helping his human police officers track down a killer on Dec. 13, 2018. Officer Edgar Flores was shot to death by the assailant. Indi is credited with saving the lives of DeKalb County Police officers.

When:

  • Wednesday, March 13, 10 a.m.

Where:

  • DeKalb Police K-9 Memorial, 1960 W. Exchange Place, Tucker
  • In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in fourth floor media room of the DeKalb Police headquarters.
