DeKalb Removes 191 Tons of Debris After Hurricane Michael

DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County crews removed more than 191 tons of debris and reopened 40 roads two days after remnants of Hurricane Michael hit DeKalb.  

DeKalb County sanitation and beautification crews completed debris removal Friday, Oct. 12, after working around the clock to clear fallen trees from roads.

DeKalb County only removes trees in public rights of way. Citizens requesting help on private property should call 404-294-2900 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
