DeKalb Repairs Water Main Break in Tucker

DECATUR, Ga.—DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management has located and repaired a 16-inch main along Lavista Road near Henderson Road in Tucker. The repairs were completed May 2 at 10 p.m.

Paving and road restoration began today and is scheduled to be completed by the afternoon of Friday, May 4. Drivers are urged to use caution as there are lane closures in the area. Sidewalk and curbing restoration is scheduled to be completed next week.

Customers may notice slightly discolored water due to current work being completed. Residents are encouraged to allow the faucet to run until the water runs clear. For more information, contact the DeKalb County Watershed Department at 770-270-6243.
