DeKalb School Recycling Program Celebration May 3

DECATUR, Ga. – On Thursday, May 3, the DeKalb County Sanitation Division, in partnership with the DeKalb County School District, will host a commemoration event in recognition of the districtwide implementation of the school recycling program. The program was implemented at the DeKalb County School District’s 137 schools and facilities. The DeKalb County School District is one of the first and only school districts in the state of Georgia to fully implement a districtwide recycling program.
