DECATUR, Ga. – In observance of Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 22, sanitation collection service for residential customers will be based on a revised collection schedule as follows:
Monday, Nov. 19 – Normal collection day.
Tuesday, Nov. 20 – Normal collection day.
Wednesday, Nov. 21 – Normal collection day.
Thursday, Nov. 22 – Thanksgiving Day observed; no collection service.
Friday, Nov. 23 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Thursday, Nov. 22, will be serviced on Friday, Nov. 23.
The Sanitation Division’s administrative office, including the customer service call center, will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, reopening on Monday, Nov. 26, during normal operating hours. The North Transfer Station and Seminole Road Landfill will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, reopening on Friday, Nov. 23, during normal operating hours.
