Market Street Lane Closure in Clarkston Extended to Oct. 26

DECATUR, Ga. Work is expected to continue through Friday, Oct. 26, on a project to replace nearly 200 feet of water pipe in Clarkston.

On Oct. 1, DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management began the project, which is taking place along Market Street, from Vaughn Street to East Ponce de Leon Avenue, and from Church Street to Roland Street.

Crews will continue repair work around the clock Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Traffic personnel will be onsite to guide motorists safely through the area.  Those traveling in the area should expect delays.
