Peachtree Road Lane Closure Extended Through Nov. 29

DECATUR, Ga. – A single lane closure on Peachtree Road near the Peachtree Boulevard intersection has been extended through Tuesday, Nov. 28, and Wednesday, Nov. 29.  The closure to complete emergency sewer line repairs will be in effect each day from 8 a.m. through 3 p.m., near 4945 Peachtree Road, Chamblee.

As part of DeKalb County’s $1.345 billion Capital Improvement Program, crews working on behalf of the Department Watershed Management are assessing and repairing lines to improve sewer service to the community. 

Motorists and MARTA passengers that use Peachtree Road at the Peachtree Boulevard intersection should expect delays and plan for extra commuting time. Lane closure signs will be in the area alerting drivers to local traffic restrictions.
