Crews will repair damaged water valve

DeKalb County Watershed Management crews will replace and/or repair a malfunctioning valve at the intersection of Ashford Dunwoody Road and Perimeter Summit Parkway. A portion of the northbound lane will be closed on Sunday, March 13, at 8:30 a.m., while crews make repairs and restore service during a planned water outage.  This section of Ashford Dunwoody Road will reopen on Monday, March 14.

This work is being performed as ongoing maintenance of the county’s water infrastructure.

Motorists should expect delays stemming from the lane closure. Lane closure signs and traffic flaggers will assist motorists in moving safely around the lane closure. Our construction crews will work diligently to minimize the length of impact to motorists.
