POSTPONED: DeKalb Code Enforcement Officers to Target Moreland Avenue

This event has been postponed due to the road section collapse on I-85. The new date will be announced later.

DECATUR, Ga. — The DeKalb County Code Enforcement Division will conduct a comprehensive sweep of the Moreland Avenue area on Friday, March 31, after a news conference at 10 a.m.

The sweep will be conducted as part of efforts to clean up DeKalb County and eliminate blight by ensuring property standards are maintained. Owners of properties that have code violations will receive citations.

Common code violations that will addressed include, but are not limited to, vacant unsecured structures; exterior property in need of repairs; high weeds and grass; open storage of furniture, appliances and tires; trash cans without lids; untagged/unlicensed or junk vehicles; and junkyard conditions.
