DECATUR, Ga. — The recount of the votes cast in the Atlanta City Council Post 1 race in DeKalb County, previously scheduled for Friday, Nov. 17, has been canceled.
Certified results from DeKalb and Fulton counties indicated that no candidate received a majority of votes cast, requiring a runoff election, and the recount request was withdrawn.
