DECATUR, Ga. – Jordan Lane remains closed to through-traffic to accommodate construction of the Scott Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project, which includes the upsizing of nearly 2,400 feet of water pipe in the DeKalb Industrial Boulevard area.
Access to residences, the DeKalb County Utility Customer Operations Center, WorkSource DeKalb and other businesses on Jordan Lane is available from North Decatur Road.
Pedestrians and MARTA users have normal access from North Decatur Road. A walkway, fence, and signage are in place to direct pedestrians and MARTA users from Scott Boulevard/Lawrenceville Highway.
Motorists who use Jordan Lane to access Scott Boulevard/Lawrenceville Highway are urged to plan for extra commuting time. Road closure and detour signs are in the area alerting motorists to the construction work and local traffic restrictions.
The lane closure and detour will be in effect until the work in the area is completed in November.
