UPDATE: DeKalb Watershed Completes Collecting Water Samples after Boil Water Advisory Issued

The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management has completed collecting the required water samples to determine whether the county’s water supply is safe for consumption without boiling.

After the Georgia Environmental Protection Division completes its analysis of the results later this evening, it will either approve the lift of the advisory or require additional samples.

DeKalb County remains under a boil water advisory for all DeKalb County water customers until official notification is issued by DeKalb County Government.

The advisory does not include customers served by City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management.
