DECATUR, Ga.—Repairs are underway on a 6-inch water main near the intersection of Peeler Road and Cherring Drive in Dunwoody.

DeKalb Watershed workers have isolated the leak and repair work has begun to replace 20 linear feet of pipe. The repairs are expected to be completed by 8 p.m.

The intersection of Peeler Road and Cherring Drive is closed to through-traffic during the repairs, however local traffic will be accommodated.

Approximately 50 to 70 homes are without water service due to the break.
