DeKalb Voter Registration and Elections Reminders: Early Voting Locations and Key Dates for November 2025 Municipal General/Special Election

DeKalb Voter Registration and Elections (DeKalb VRE) is reminding voters about upcoming early voting details, drop box locations, and other key dates related to the Nov. 4 Municipal General/Special Election. 

Key Dates: DeKalb voters are encouraged to make note of the following dates. 

Now – Request an absentee ballot for the November election

October 6 – Voter registration deadline

October 14 through October 31 – Early voting period

October 24 – Last day to request an absentee ballot

November 4 – Election Day

 

Early Voting LocationsThe DeKalb BRE approved 10 early voting locations across the county, including five sites equipped with official absentee ballot drop boxes.

DeKalb VRE Executive Director Keisha Smith encourages voters to get familiar with the early voting dates, locations, and designated drop box sites ahead of early voting. “Every election matter, and every vote counts,” said Smith. “We want every eligible voter in DeKalb County to have the information they need to make a plan to vote this and every election cycle. Whether that means voting early, voting by mail, or casting a ballot on Election Day, our team is here to help ensure that process is easy, secure, and accessible for all.”
