Wade Walker Park Ribbon Cutting Set for Sept. 19

DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated pavilion and bathrooms at Wade Walker Park on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held at 5585 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088.

A total of $308,000 was allocated to complete the project. The public is invited to join park staff and county officials at the ceremony. Attendees will also learn more about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
