North Druid Hills Water Main Repairs Completed

DECATUR, Ga. — DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management has repaired the water main and restored service caused by a leak at 2334 North Druid Hills Road NE, near the intersection of Briarcliff and North Druid Hills Roads.

Workers are completing temporary repairs to North Druid Hills Road. Regular traffic patterns have resumed. Permanent repairs to the road will be made when weather and temperature are favorable.

County crews have located the source of the leak at 3180 Clairmont Road and are working to make repairs while attempting to minimize water service disruptions.  

Access to Clairmont Road remains restricted by Brookhaven Police and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Clairmont Road has been treated for any accumulated ice with sand by the Georgia Department of Transportation maintenance crews.
