DECATUR, Ga. – The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs urges patrons to use park fire safety this season at all county parks.

With the end-of-summer dry conditions, it is important to exercise an abundance of caution to protect DeKalb's natural resources.

Smoking and fires are prohibited at Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, located at 3783 Klondike Rd., Stonecrest, GA 30038. Citizens are prohibited from grilling in any area of the park and should call 911 immediately if they see smoke or a fire.
