DECATUR, Ga. — William Purkett III, an eighth-grader at North Druid Hills Middle School, is the winner of WorkSource DeKalb’s “Being a Bridge Builder” art contest.
Sponsored by DeKalb County Super District Commissioner Gregory Adams, the competition was designed to bring awareness of the importance of local partnerships and to inspire and promote connections that increase the value of our community.
“When designing this picture, I wanted the bridge to represent how everything in this county brings us together as a bridge should,” William said.
William’s winning design will be placed on the 2018 DeKalb Works Summer Youth Employment Program t-shirts.
