Contest Rules:
1. Eligibility: The contest is open to legal residents of Dekalb County, Georgia, aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
2. How to Enter: To enter the contest, participants must complete the recycling survey provided by Office of Independent Interal Audit, DeKalb County between March 6, 2024 and April 6, 2024. Only one entry per person is allowed.
3. Prize: One (1) $50 gift cards will be awarded each to two randomly selected participant who completes the survey. The gift card may be subject to terms and conditions imposed by the issuer.
4. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the contest period. The draw will be conducted within seven (7) days following the end of the contest period.
5. Notification: The winner will be notified via email or phone within seven (7) days of the prize draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
6. Prize Distribution: The $50 gift card will be sent to the winner via mail or email, depending on the preference of the winner and the type of gift card selected.
7. Publicity: By participating in the contest, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
8. General Conditions: The organizers reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond their control impairs the integrity of the contest. The organizers are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the organizers due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this contest.
9. Release: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the organizers, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the contest or receipt of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the contest, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney's fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
10. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in [Insert City, State]. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the organizers in connection with the contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of [Insert State], without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of [Insert State] or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than [Insert State].
11. Privacy: Information collected from entrants is subject to the organizers' privacy policy.
12. Winner's List: To obtain a copy of the winner's name or a copy of these Official Rules, send your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Attention: Office of Independent Internal Audit, 3rd Floor, 1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur, GA, 30030. Requests must be received no later than April 15, 2024.
13. Sponsor: The contest is sponsored by Office of Independent Internal Audit. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social network or platform used in the promotion.
