You can catch Chata Spikes on DCTV's Let's Talk DeKalb, sitting down with guests, keeping DeKalb County informed about various county organizations, events and service. Chata joined the DCTV staff in 2005.

Chata is no stranger to the media industry; with more than ten years experience she has held various positions from newspaper editor to network news producer.

Chata came to DCTV from WSB-TV Channel Action News where she was an assignment editor, field producer and internship coordinator. Before that, Chata worked at WYFF News 4 in Greenville, S.C. as morning show producer and writer.

During her tenure at WSB-TV she had the pleasure of interviewing Oprah Winfrey and serving as producer of the stations Celebrate the Heritage specials.

Chata is a Georgia native, she hails from East Point. She graduated from Fort Valley State University in 2001.
