Kristal Thomas is a native of Decatur, Georgia. She graduated from Brenau University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with a concentration in journalism.
She worked as the student station manager for Brenau's radio station 89.1 WBCX for three years and as an anchorperson for Cable 23 in Gainesville, Ga., for two years. She’s also worked at Jacobs Media in Gainesville as a production assistant and intern.
Kristal joined DCTV as an intern in 2015. She plans to work as a television news anchor in the future.
