Employees who were hired prior to September 1, 2005 receive a pension benefit as defined below.

Current employee contribution rate is 10.48%.

Benefits under this plan include:

• 2.75% of FAE * years of service (max of 30 years – 82.5%)
• Retire without penalty with 30 years of service regardless of age
• Early retirement at age 50 with 10 years of service
  • Early retirement reduction 1.5% per year
• Normal retirement at age 55 with 10 years of service.
• Delayed retirement at age 65 with 3 years of service.
