Revolving Loan and Grant Fund

DeKalb County’s Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program provides funds

for removing contaminated soil, petroleum and hazardous waste at abandoned

or underused properties, called Brownfields. In 2012, DeKalb County secured a

$900K Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund grant to address hazardous and

petroleum sites. An additional $300K was awarded in 2015 to continue work

on Brownfield properties.

The Decide DeKalb Development Authority administers the following funds for Brownfield cleanups to those who qualify:

• $900,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency
• $300,000 supplemental grant
