Biological sampling will be performed on a rotating basis based on the biological monitoring results such that locations with good biologic integrity are monitored more frequently. The table below provides the number of sampling events and parameters that will be sampling during the event.
The Scott Chandler Water Treatment Plant is the drinking water plant that serves DeKalb County. This plant was originally constructed in 1942 and named after the DeKalb County commissioner and visionary of the water system - Scott Candler. The original plant underwent 8 expansions over the years before the new plant was constructed in 2007.
