ONLY customers with a Sanitation Commercial Account can utilize the transfer stations. Citizens ARE NOT allowed to use any of the transfer stations.

No construction and demolition waste is accepted at ANY transfer station – residents can transport this material for Seminole Road Landfill for disposal – see Seminole Road Landfill for disposal charge.

ADOPT-A-PROGRAMS

The Adopt-A-Road program gives concerned individuals the opportunity to help their local community environment by collecting litter and beautifying streets in their neighborhood. This countywide program allows the “You’re the Solution to Litter Pollution” motto to spark awareness amongst citizens of all ages.

Next is the evolution of our website. Long ago we outgrew these digs. The future holds a much-needed user-friendly environment. An environment intended to educate, serve and improve the lives of those who visit, sharing and promoting ideas of beauty and sustainability. The new KDB website will be a place where special events are promoted, where interesting education materials and activities can be found and where volunteers can connect to people and topics of interest
