Name: Emory Hills Water Main Replacement

Type: Drinking Water

Location: North Decatur Road intersecting Ridgewood Drive, Emory Drive, Burlington Raod, Emory Circle and Durand Drive  Memorial Drive 

Cost: $9 million

Project Timeframe: Spring 2018 - Winter 2019 2019

This project will replace 9,200 linear feet of water main (pipe) along North Decatur Road from Ridgewood Drive to Duran Drive. The Department of Watershed Management is installing a newer eight-inch water main to replace the aging six-inch water main. Meeting future demand for water services, reducing water main breaks and water outages are top benefits of the project.
