Transfer station use is limited to commercial customers within DeKalb County. Transfer stations are closed on all DeKalb County government observed holidays. Only solid waste material generated in DeKalb County is accepted. Construction and demolition material, municipal sludge and contaminated soil are not accepted at any transfer station. Municipal solid waste and yard trimmings are accepted al all transfer stations. Residential customers are not permitted to use transfer stations. Residents can transport material to the Seminole Road Landfill for disposal (click here for the Seminole Road Landfill webpage).

How can I obtain a transfer station permit?
Transfer station permits can be obtained by completing a transfer station permit application; providing the necessary documentation listed on the application; and following the instructions provided. Once processed and approved, the appropriate decal will be issued to the applicant. Click here for the transfer station permit application.
